Book Chapter
The MOOC Case Book tells stories of e-learning practitioners, faculty, and students who faced challenges during the design, development, implementation, or participation in a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Debbie's chapter is specific to MOOC pedagogy, addressing how faculty and instructors can adapt curriculum to the online format. The book is typically used as a textbook and as a supplementary resource in programs focusing on instructional design in online learning and higher education.

Online Learning Insights
Debbie launched Online Learning Insights in 2012, a platform for educators and students teaching and learning online. She was working as the lead curriculum developer at a private university and saw an opportunity to support educators who were transitioning their courses from face-to-face to the online format and for those who were teaching online. Both required a different skill set than face-to-face instruction. The goal of Online Learning Insights was and is to share pedagogically sound learning strategies with faculty, educators, and students engaging with online platforms.
Online learning insights has been referenced in academic papers, featured in education sites and materials, and is visited by educators and learners from over 90 countries. You can connect with Online Learning Insights here.
