I am a learning and curriculum developer, digital content creator, and writer. I hold a master’s degree in education and human development, a graduate certificate in museum studies, and am halfway through a graduate degree in art history. I have worked for higher education institutions, museums, and as a consultant for The World Bank, business and educational organizations.
One of my passions is making learning approachable, engaging and inspiring for students and instructors. Another is sharing my methods and ideas with others who feel the same way, hence this website. I am also a lover of art and its history. I love art and the stories it tells, and through my experience as a museum docent I have seen the power of art—how it can inspire, entertain, guide, and heal. That motivated me to create Art History for Real, a platform that delivers engaging stories about art and artists in bite-sized segments in unique, self-paced online courses. I also write. I have a published chapter in a textbook, and write/wrote for several online publications, including my surprisingly successful blog, Online Learning Insights (see tab "other writings"). Soon to launch is my book, Flowers of Heaven: A Family Story of Love and Loss on Colpoy’s Bay. Check out my recent projects to learn more.
