The MOOC Case Book tells stories of e-learning practitioners, faculty, and students who faced challenges during the design, implementation, and participation in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). My chapter is specific to MOOC pedagogy and addresses how faculty and instructors can adapt curriculum to the online format. The book is typically used as a textbook or as a supplementary resource in programs focusing on instructional design in online learning and higher education.

Blog: Online Learning Insights
I launched Online Learning Insights in 2012 as a source for educators and students teaching and learning online. At the time of launch, while working as a curriculum developer for a small university I saw a need to support educators who were teaching online and transitioning their curriculum to the online format. Both required different skill sets. The goal of Online Learning Insights was and is to share pedagogically sound learning strategies with faculty, educators, and students engaging with online learning.
The blog has been referenced in academic papers, in education sites and materials, and is visited by educators and learners from over 90 countries. I do not write for the blog any longer, but it still receives regular visitors. Connect with Online Learning Insights here.

Blog: Museums for Real

I launched Museums for Real in 2022 around the same time I launched Art History for Real. I felt, (and still do) that everyday people should be able to experience and enjoy art museums on their own terms, both in-person and online. Hence, I created Museums for Real, a blog with insights and ideas on how to make museums relevant, approachable, and way more fun for real people.
