Art History for Real

As an art-lover, former docent and museum educator, I saw how people wanted to learn and engage with art yet couldn’t because of the barriers inherent to museums and cultural institutions. I wanted to create a different experience for people to engage with and learn about art, which led to Art History For Real. It is an online learning platform that shares art and its stories through a modern lens with unique, dynamic courses. It allows learners to experience art differently, connect it to their own experiences and life. That's when art becomes relevant and real!

A family story of anguish, love, and loss centres on the suicide of Gretchen, a young mother and soon-to-be divorcee from a small Ontario town. Morrison uses archival research, local history, photographs, and fictionalized dialogue to create a compelling story that unravels through the voices of Gretchen’s family, the medical establishment, and members of the local community.
