About Online Learning Insights

Picture
I launched Online Learning Insights (OLI) in 2012 as a blog about open and online education; to date it has received over 1 million page views. My aim was to create resource for educators teaching online looking for support and skill development.  I saw the need while working as Lead Curriculum Designer for the Online Learning Department at a private university. In response, I started a weekly newsletter for faculty teaching online with tips on how to engage students, establish a sense of presence, provide feedback to students and more. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I started sharing similar ideas for skill development and resources through the Online Learning Insights.

Online Learning Insights Today
