Flowers of Heaven, my first book, is a story about my grandmother, who died at the age of thirty-four in 1941. It weaves together true family events and historical insights about women's roles in the 1940s and is set in a small town in Ontario, Canada. My next book, Memories of Mum: Stories and Recipes from the 1980s and 1990s, is in the works!
